In the same of sameness on B2B social, competitors are quickly dominating the share of search in trade and supply chain banking. Authoritative and high-quality content is being produced but still getting lost.

The solve

Focusing on the client’s point of differentiation, where UOB believes that ASEAN (not just trading with Greater China) is a vibrant source of opportunity for regional growth. By creating Always-on social media content that appeals to the Strategic Scalers in Singapore & SEA (Founders, Co-founders, CEOs and CFOs of businesses with 10-40M in annual revenue), who recognise the regional ambitions of their local business.

The visual narrative

Revamping the client’s creative process of collecting customer stories through long-form blog articles and recordings of online meetings, I proposed more social-first appearances and formats. Pulling out important quotes in the form of short videos or static captures, we mimic a Tiktok style of editing. This means short punchy typography, putting the juicy questions that everyone wants the answers to front and center, teasing our client’s audience to watch on.

Content Master Series: Where Next?

We wanted SME business leaders in Asia to feel confident and excited about the prospect of regional expansion: to feel like anything is possible. By featuring expert insights in the form of a interview series in various social formats, we aim to give our client’s audience the inspiration to set off on a new journey of growth.

Our theme takes inspiration from something business leaders in the region know all too well: travel. We showcase how new directions, new opportunities, new connections and new success stories are all within reach.

Each episode of the video series will feature the guest going on a journey, opening with a host asking, “Where are you going today?”, and the journey begins. 

Jumping from one ASEAN city to another, each reel reveals our Strategic Scaler’s business network as they go. They’ll enjoy their favourite local experiences, share their stories of ambition and growth, and meet familiar and new faces along the way.

Creating nuggets of interesting learnings both practical and entertaining that can be served as short clips or carousels.
